We specialize in breeding majestic hypo-allergenic Siberian Forest Cats in Ontario, Canada.
"Shanti" is a Sanskrit word meaning peace, tranquility or bliss. For those who have had the love of a cat in their life, they understand how these gorgeous animals bring all these elements into a home.
Our journey for a hypo-allergenic cat came as my husband and I started to build a home together and I learned of his family's allergies to cats. Having grown up with cats, I longed to bring their grace and elegance into my house, thus began a journey to bring feline love into our home.
As I researched online, I found that the Canadian wait times for Siberian kittens could take up to three years. My desire for a kitten overruled my patience and thus I looked to the United States where I formed a bond with Tammy McIntosh of Akila Siberians. It is from her that we purchased our first two beautiful queens, and we only grew from there!
Our adults are carefully chosen to produce offspring that are exceptional specimens of the breed and all of our kittens are home raised, with much love, cuddles and kisses! While Siberians are known for their playful personalities and friendly demeanour, we strongly believe that like children, cats are the products of their home environments, and as such need much love and snuggles to encourage a calm, relaxed and loving disposition. We are proud members of both The International Cat Association and the Cat Fanciers Association and strive to adhere to their codes of conduct and ethics.
We hope to bring the over flowing joy and love of a cat to your home too.
